I want to own a polaroid camera...

But people have been telling me things like: "the film is very expensive", "can only take one shot, if not good cannot delete", "digital camera better" blah blah blah... -.-

HALO! You think I don't already know all these? I know the film will be expensive, but I'm ready to pay what, what's the problem?

Ya, you may think I'm sounding cocky or whatever. But let me reason with you.

The film is expensive, for a good reason. When you use a polaroid to take photos, unlike conventional camera or digital ones where the photos are stored in a negative or storage medium, you get the photo instant, and since there's no storage medium or negative, that photo is going to be the one and only one in the world.

If paying more can get you a one and only photograph in the whole wide world, don't you think it's worth it? Now, do you still think I sound cocky?

One more thing, if you know the film is going to cost more, naturally you'll be more giam in taking photos cos you want to make sure it's gonna turn out all right. Cos ultimately, whether shooting with digital camera or polaroid, you'd want to take photos that are fit for keeping, not to feed rubbish bin, right?

So to those ignorant bitches who laughed, so what if you have state-of-the-art digital camera or whatever shit? My photos will be so much more unique than yours cos there'll never be copies of it (unless you scan them)... And since I'm determine to get one, may as well get one of my liking... LOL

So peeps, if you ever get to see any polaroids that look like the one in the pictures above, please help me check the price, please....

Just heard something from a friend which could potentially spoil my mood for the rest of the week (maybe even the term). I know it's hearsay, so I should not let this affect my own judgement. But previous direct encounter/witnessing/or whatever had already marred my impression of them, so I don't think it'll affect much... But with regards to that comment she made or "hinted" or purposely want other people to think what she meant to make them think, I can only respond with "SPEAK FOR YOURSELF!" and “清者自清”. That is if she even dare to say it in front of me...

  • Mary (got the idea from Ade, LOL) calls for group meetings, but everytime don't contribute much.
  • When ask for agenda of the meeting (because I felt that it's time wasting if there's not going to be considerable progress), 答非所问, or better still, meeting that time say: "So, what are we going to do?" (-.- WTH?! you called for meeting, still dare to ask ppl what to do! waste time la! you think just becos you got a lot of time, ppl will also have time to liao with you ar?!)

I 自问I conducted myself very well, as in didn't #@$!%^*& in front of her, and didn't go around saying and "hinting", but then.... 被她先发制人了... Haiz... bo bian.......

However, if the hearsay turns out to be really only hearsay, than I think my MSN nick should serve as a warning to Mary that I won't take it lightly if ever I find out that it's true... But for now, I don't think she'll go around "hinting" about my nick la, it'll imply that she admit it MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

One more thing before I end, if murder is not a crime, I'll tear her into pieces!!! And I won't care even if she ever sees this entry!!!

I love looking out of the window in the evening.

To see the last sunshine of the day,

to feel the cool breeze brushing across my face, and to smell the "aroma" of the approaching nightfall.

It pleases me to see children walking home after school, crossing the traffic lights...

Cars after cars passing by, knowing that the drivers behind the steering wheels are looking forward to a good rest at home after a day's work...

Thanks Shimin! You're really sweet... :)

woooo!!! KJE's new movie broke the 1 million mark in just 6 days! Now there's a chance that local film distributors may screen Forever The Moment!!! YEAH!!!

《우리 생애 최고의 순간》

p/s Gosh! I don't know why it's translated into Forever the Moment when the literal translation Best Moment of Our Lives sounds so much better and closer to the storyline...

What I did today was cowardly, and I despise myself... But not because of what I did directly leh... Erm... how to put it? Oh,

I'm ashame of the fact that I allowed myself to succumb to my own cowardice... It was exactly the same as the first time, even though situations were not at all similar...

Just want this term to end real soon, even though there's only a month left. Ever since I was still a kid, when all I wanted was to grow up faster, this is the first time when I really want time to fly.

A disk read error occurred Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

Survive a scare in the early hours of Saturday... My laptop crashed, and it won't boot again!!! Rammed through my drawers and all looking for the warranty and was thinking of calling up on the coming Monday. Then I thought I'd just try to reformat it to see if it works..

Luckily it did, but the laptop's performance is very bad... Very lag... What's worse, lost quite a lot of files and data, like the email contacts etc....

a promise is meant to be kept... dun bother making one if you're going to break it, even if it means you'll forget... it'll be a waste of the other party's time...

I'm exhausted, and I have lesson in the morning, yet I can't fall asleep. I'm still haunted by the past...

It's not exactly terrifying, it's the familiarly horrible sinking feeling that clouded most of my life in 2004... I seriously thought it was all over after the exams then, nothing worse can happen... Those were my thoughts, so much so that even when Mrs. Brian and Mr. Rashidin told me "You're smiling again", it took me a moment to realise what they were talking about... I really thought so.

But the flashes of then tonight were as vivid as ever. Sure, 4 years isn't exactly long, but surely it's enough? It pains even to put all these down in writing, but whether it helps to lessen the extent of it remains to be seen... Otherwise, what else can I do except to stare at the ceiling of my bedroom in darkness?

I was still all right this morning in class, I was still telling Si Ying who Prof. Lim reminded me of. His teaching style, the way he speaks, those gestures, the arrogance, even the balding hair, bear so much resemblance to Mr. Lee... But now, I also don't know what happened, and why... And it makes me dread going to class later...

Occasionally, when I do give this issue a thought, the conclusion was: if that person wasn't Mr. Lee, perhaps it wouldn't have been so bitter. I had held him in utmost respect, but ever since, there's additional disappointment and resentment. I don't loathe him, it's resentment because he was someone I really respected, and I still do. 'Cos afterall, he gave me lots of opportunities, and I believe those opportunities somewhat moulded who I am now...

Those who know the details, ha, most of whom I was avoiding instinctively last year. I know it was wrong, especially to those who just happened to be with people whom I consciously wanted to avoid, I'm sorry...

I don't know why I'm letting this out, it's not like they were fond memories or something... Maybe because I just needed an outlet. Still, the fact that you are seeing this entry speaks a lot... It's like a piece of dirty laundry that I've been keeping for so long, and the stench finally got to me that I'm finally airing it...

My, new year has been SOOOOO................ unsurprising. Ya, seriously, I mean officially it's the end of 2007 and start of 2008, but emotionally I feel nothing special or different. The most I did to acknowledge the arrival of a new year was to greet my mum and dad when they came back around 1+ in the morning on 01/01/08 (they went to watch fireworks at i-dun-know-exactly-where) "halo, 一年不见了" (I did that to my auntie as well, she came back earlier, 12+. but I didn't think she heard me 'cos we both started talking at the same time)

I decided to get myself a part-time job, not only to earn some bucks to cover for my travel expenses now that I'm officially using adult fare on a more frequent basis, but also hopefully I can save enough to spend on a 2nd trip to HK... Tried my luck at GV @ J8 yesterday, looking at the application form, for part-time, the timing seems quite flexible (you get to put down your own timing), so I decided I would be willing to settle for $4 per hour considering that I'm leaving out weekends slots.

Duty Manager: So you're currently studying at SIM?
Me: No, SMa. (why is it that nobody seems to know what or where SMa is?)
DM: Oh. hmmm... are you able to work on Saturdays and Sundays?
Me: (you blind ar, I didn't fill in weekends slots on the form what) Sorry, no, 'cos I've got other commitments on weekends. I'm giving tuition to my cousins.
(Ya, I lied.)
DM: Oh ok, 'cos weekdays we have enough people, we just need more on weekends. I'll call you if we need... (I can't exactly catch what he said 'cos he went softer)

Ok, so I take it that you won't even bother calling, and that you probably had chuck that form into the bin the moment you went into the room. Looks like I may have to postpone the trip to end of the year if I can't find another satisfactory job real soon...

Only realised that yesterday was the start of school term as I was on my way home on the bus, lots of students, and the bus stink. So after I alighted and came to the traffic light (it's red man, but there were no cars on the road), I really wanted to cross the road you know 'cos it's drizzling, but then beside me were 2 primary school students, so I thought I'd better wait for the green man (social responsibility blah blah blah... cock lor). Not that I mind that bit of rain, but there's dust in those rain, and my scalp hasn't been in it's best health for a looooooooooong time... Oh ya, whatever.

That should conclude my 1st entry of 2008, just a simple recount of a-much-eventful-2nd jan-than-1st jan. It didn't exactly start off with a bang, did it?

p/s ade, LIP original at least did made me pity your LDG sometimes, but mandarin just made me think he deserves it LOL
