Folks! Get ready to turn over to a fresh new page in slightly less than 24 hours time! hehe
Saw fireworks earlier from the balcony, but was too excited to take photos of it. If I'm not wrong it was from the empty plot of land between Hougang Mall and the MRT station entrance... Nothing very spectacular, if you compare with what Marina (is it there?) has to offer every year... But still, better than nothing, 'cos I don't fancy going down there to experience how a sardine would feel instead.
Coincidence -- how......... intriguing... Some times, certain things seem destined, you'll go like "wooow, how strange........." And it happened again today.
It so happens that the day we finally succeed in our Chawanmushi is also the day we finish our 《파리의 연인》 re-run... Mandarin may be more understandable, but I still prefer original LOL
This will be the last entry of the year (forget about the resolutions I made last year. I've learnt my lesson and won't be bothered making one for the coming year...) May there be new opportunities out there awaiting, whaterever it may be... Best wishes for 2008!

Will all hypocrites vanish from the Earth? I doubt so..
Ooooooohhhhhhh!!! Sajang's ae-giya's new (actually is 2006's movie) is finally coming to Singapore on 27 December!!! Anyone wants to join me? ;p
Just like the idea of having winter in Singapore; impossible.
Just like the idea of having summer in North Pole; impossible.
Just like the idea of having Superman bursting out of a phone booth; impossible.
I wish I could tell them all in the face, "The fact that you exist disgust me!". But I can't, why? 'cos I'm a bloody coward! Much as I despise these people, I can't deny I'm one too. But all people are.
You sometimes hear people claiming that they are innocent, as pure as snow. They are lying. Even babies are not pure and innocent. Why do you think they cry? For food? Not all the times. The times when they cry not for food, are for attention. And that taints their innocence.
Even a piece of blank paper don't remain white and blank forever, spots grow. No one is pure forever. And in my eyes, all people known as homo sapiens will soon be known as hypocrites too.

Enchanted totally got me enchanted!
Yeah, I watched it yesterday, but like many Disney fairytales, the songs just keep playing in your mind, and then when you "hear" it, you'll start picturing those scenes again. I knew it would be different from conventional fairytales, but I definitely didn't expect the showdown in the last 10+ minutes! The showdown was just NOT damsel in distress, but damsel to the rescue haha!
Enchanted was littered with so many of those classic Disney fairytales that it totally got me this Disney-fairytale-fan-cum-dreamweaver so entertained and charmed... And I also have to hand it to the guy who wrote the songs for Enchanted, think is Alan Menken, there's the classic Disney style love duet True Love's Kiss, and another one that's more "modernised", That's How You Know, that was used in a scene where Giselle was in New York that really fits the story.
I especially like the last Disney parody, where Giselle left her "glass shoe" behind and it's also a perfect fit for another girl who later went back with the prince and lived happily ever after. How unconventional, isn't it? What's more, there's mobile phone reception in Andalasia!! How on earth did the scriptwriter came up with that? LOL
Much as I may like this movie, fairytale is after all fairytale. When the credits rolled, I was rudely brought back down to earth. All right, not so 严重 la. But I still can't accept the fact that the prince's happily-ever-after's partner was not Giselle, and Giselle's wasn't the prince. :(
I guess i'm in love with movie musicals ;p

WOOHOO!!! Thanks girls for the wonderful time yesterday! It made me feel a lot a lot a lot better about having to face up to 3 hours in school on monday... LOL!
It was really wonderful, the presents too, but most importantly your company... The only regret may be that I should have been more expressive haha..

SS: When everyone criticises you, in the long run, you'll start to believe them too.
JH: No, you have your own beauty too. The fact that you don't know how good you are, that is your beauty.
~silence~
SS: Criticisms are easier to believe...
The above is an exchange between 2 of the characters in a drama I just watched, and it set me thinking how true it is... Compared to compliments, criticisms are always easier to believe.
When someone praises/compliments you, honestly, deep down, don't you ever wonder whether that person is speaking the truth, or just simply flattering you? He/she may just be complimenting you out of courtesy, like praising your outfit, about how gracious it look for the occasion, when in fact you turned up in a dress with a pair of shoes instead of heels... True, he/she may be being polite, but then again he/she is not speaking what's really on his/her mind...
On the other hand, when someone criticises you, yes, you'll feel hurt, but you'll know it's the truth. Why? Because nobody will be so 无聊 as to say "you look awful" when in fact you are in the right attire, great outfit, for the right occasion. Even if it does, it's not criticism, you'll know it's a joke or that person is just teasing you, because he/she probably will not be able to hide that smile.
This seem true for parenting as well. It seems that most parents almost always believe it when they hear from third parties that their kids did bad things, even though it's hearsay. But if their kids tell them that they had scored high marks for a particularly difficult test, they are often sceptical...
All right, I'm just writing what comes to mind, so there's no focus in this entry. Writing without "processing" is bullshit!

Surprise(s) = not telling (the truth) in prior;
Lie = not intending to tell the truth;
so, Surprise(s) ≈ Lie? I do not know... Maybe not...
or it may just be the case of Surprise(s) leads to Lie? Sounds better? I think so...
But either way, it's too complicated... And why make it so? A simple life, that's all I want...
LOL, that sounds like War of Money's themesong, Simple Life...
So, now you know why i don't like to celebrate? It's not that big a deal worth making a big fuss out of.. (that sentence sounds weird? *sigh* whatever....)
[edit]p/s LOL!!! i've only just seen ade's most recent blog entry... what a coincidence...[/edit]

You know, I really hate spring cleaning (who doesn't?). I had wanted to clear the shelf above my bed ever since i-dun-know-when, but kept postponing it until today. And I've been dreading the moment since yesterday night, 'cos what if something undesirable falls out? Cockcroach? Lizard corpses? *shivers* And my Dad kept disturbing me and talking to me, so I was like "ya ya" "oh ok" "em".
Then.................. "OH?!?!?! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! I FOUND $10!!!! HAHAHAHAH!!!" The $10 note was folded in half; no dust, no cat ears, absolutely no visible lines except the one that it was folded on! Imagine it, no dust! It must have been very well protected by my junks LOL!
And my Dad still tried to claim it's his! Nice try... -.-
It's December... Going to be a busy month, lot's of birthdays and festivals... Time really flies huh? (same phrase again -.-) It seems only recently that I've just came back from my trip to Hong Kong, but come 2008 (29 days left), I won't be able to tell people that I've only just visited HK...
Had a very soul-enriching talk with a friend last night after dinner. "I may be worried, but I'm not desperate... I may be looking forward to it, but I'll not rush into it..." Yup, these are the afterthoughts...
